Another “Great” Gone…R.i.P Roc Raida (check out the vids)

Headline: “X-Ecutioner member and Busta Rhymes’ personal deejay, Anthony “DJ Roc Raida” Williams, has reportedly passed today (September 19).”

We have lost yet another music legend. Anthony “DJ Roc Raida” Williams passed unexpectedly on September 19, 2009. The cause has yet to be released. Previous reports claimed that he was in a car accident and other sources are saying his death was caused from a Mixed Martial Arts injury. He is survived by his wife, 3 daughters, his mother, & friends.

A rep for the family said …”Family and friends will miss him dearly. Please give the family their privacy.”

DJ Roc Raida (a.k.a. Grand Master Roc Raida) began DJ’ing when he was 10 years old with his fathers help. He then became a legendary turntablist and was a member & founder of the legendary group/crew The X-Ecutioners (along with: Mista Sinista, Rob Swift, and Total Eclipse). They won championship titles and awards across the world. DJ Roc Raida was also Busta Rhymes’ tour DJ.
